All programs available through Craig Tribal Association have guidelines to help prevent any misuse of the services provided. 


1. Must be a Craig Tribal Member. (CCTHITA application does not apply to this).

2. CANNOT be dually enrolled in another tribe (I.E. KCA, KIC, Sitka Tribe)

3. Must be a United States Citizen.

4. Any distribution provided from Craig Tribal Association CANNOT be sold, traded or given away.


Any misuse of these guidelines will forfeit any future distributions. 

3.) There is a BIA HIP application for pick up at the Kaaws Tlaay (Old Haidaway Hotel) for those tribal members in the neighborhood of Craig. This is the utility assistance for $380 for electric, fuel, or water/sewer/garbage. 

Must provide a bill in tribal members name. 

Craig Tribal Association has remodeled the K’āaws Tlāay (previously known as the Haida Way Lodge) into quarantine rooms. These rooms are available to our island residence with preference to our Tribal members. 

Those eligible to stay in these facilities are:

Any individual/family who has tested positive for Coronavirus/(COVID-19).


Any individual/family who is a high risk contact of a person(s) confirmed to have the Coronavirus (COVID-19)


Any individual/family who has tested for Coronavirus (COVID-19) and is waiting for their results.

The Craig Tribal Council and administration realize that the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic are still present.
